At work, we have a new trainee who I thought was hot from day one. As his supervisor, I didn't want to take advantage of this power imbalance, of course, so I dutifully kept my hands off him for the time being. Yesterday morning, however, things got weird. I came in and he was staring at me, when I looked at him he turned red and quickly turned away. I caught him staring at me over and over all day. When I met him alone in the break room, I confronted him. He flailed around, blushed, and then came out with it. He discovered my MDH profile! "That's why you don't need to blush" I tell him kindly and then, without really thinking about the consequences, "do you feel like dropping by for a coffee tonight if you're so interested in the topic?" I think he could hardly believe his luck, because the doorbell rang a good three quarters of an hour early. After a glass to loosen up, he was allowed to take a seat on my couch and give himself completely to my capable hands 😉 For once I'm happy to come to work on Monday.
